I Promise I Didn't Delete You From Facebook

#facebook Mar 20, 2023

As many of you who were following me know, I used Facebook mainly for business purposes.  Several people have asked me, "Why did you delete me from Facebook?"  Truth is, I didn't!  I was one of the spiritual accounts that Facebook decided to get rid of as an attempt to further silence me.

Here is what happened.

In late October 2022, it was a Sunday morning and I was asked to verify my business page information.  Though I did, moments later I received this email:

I disagreed with the decision because I didn't understand what happened, or why.  However, later that night after submitting my ID, Facebook took my account away indefinitely with this response:

There was still no explanation as to why.

Days Later.

Days later I received an email from my credit card company saying a charge of $125 USD was declined due to insufficient funds on the card.  Honestly, I was beyond grateful for not having the funds, but I looked at the email because I did not charge anything in that amount.  When I opened the email, I discovered that Facebook tried to charge me for $125 USD.

Here is the charge:

This left me further confused, and very angry.  How could Facebook have the nerve to deactivate my account indefinitely and then charge me $125 USD?

I emailed Facebook and received no response from them.  Surprise, surprise.

What I did.

Honestly, this was one of the best things Facebook could have done to me as it pushed me to get off the platform for good and search of other sources.  So, after this experience, I didn't fight to return to Facebook.  Instead, I made the decision to release Facebook completely.

Luckily, I listened to my intuition and saved all of my photos and certain messages for reference prior to the deletion.

Now I am mainly running my enter business from my Kajabi Platform, which offers a wide-range of supports for businesses just like Facebook did.  I absolutely love that I can run a personal community on Kajabi (which is in the works) just like a Facebook Group without having to worry about it disappearing!

Though this blog post was not meant to promote Kajabi, but simply to explain what happened, I want to add that joining Kajabi was the best decision I made!

Though, for some odd reason, Facebook left my business page open, for those of you who were following me, and would like to continue to follow me, you can find me in the following places (and yes, I know Instagram is a part of Facebook):

If you would like to send me a quick message, you can do so here:
